When I started writing Praetorian Rising, I was aiming to write a three-book series. I ended up writing a GINORMOUS first draft and my editor encouraged me to expand and work on splitting book 1 into two books. Enter – the second book of this series: A Trial of Petals and Poison. This is when I had to start referring to it by a series name and it was natural at the time (and easy, if I’m honest) to call the series Praetorian Rising Series. I felt this worked well enough, but as I’ve continued working on this series I don’t feel it encapsulates the full story of this whole world. So, now is the time to release the new series name:

THE CHRONICLES OF THE FIVE SHORES

Praetorian Rising is getting a face life with a series name, book number, and new blurb for its upcoming re-release scheduled this summer 2024!

A Trial of Petals and Poison is scheduled to come out the end of 2026, though the release date is not yet firm.
